Let Me Tell You About Myself

So...my name is Nikki and I consider myself a half a first time mom.  What does that mean? Well I have been with my wonderful husband (Ken) for the last 14 years and he has a son (Nathanial) from a previous marriage who I've had in my life for that long as well.  I also just gave birth to my super adorable daughter (Ziva) in December.  So I have had my fantastic step son in my life for 14 years (plus I have 4 younger sisters whom I felt very maternal with)...with all this experience I feel like I'm only a half of a first time mom.  I've learned a lot from my past experiences and I know I have a lot more to learn with my young daughter.  She will be 4 months old next week and I see new things with her every day. I am hoping this can be somewhat of a diary/helpful for other mom's  (and dad's) out there going through similar things.  Hope you will follow me on my journey... It should be an interesting ride.
